In particular, the President wrote a viral post on Twitter to the prominent musician Shatta Wale.
Akufo-Addo wrote: “Happy birthday @shattawalegh! You for come visit me for Flagstaff House!” Last week, Shatta tweeted at the President to ask about which kind of present he would get on his birthday.
Though Akufo-Addo’s tweet did not openly respond to Shatta’s question, a journey to the Flagstaff House can undoubtedly be an ideal present for the notorious performer.
Previously, the current president of Ghana announced that he was a huge fan of Shatta Wale. At their manifesto launch in 2017, Akufo-Addo’s party used one of the singer’s hit songs “Kakai.”
Nevertheless, Shatta Wale had earlier announced that he would not support any political party ahead of general elections in December 2017.
Moreover, plenty of Ghanaian celebrities such as Stonebwoy also shared photos of Shatta Wale with numerous happy birthday wishes.
