Ahotor 92.3fm relaunches impressively

Renowned broadcaster and media consultant, Mr. Kofi Nyantakyi has advised management of Ahotor 92.3 FM to focus on development and people-oriented programming such as sanitation, community focused issues and crime in order to create a positive impact on the lives of its listeners.

He was speaking at the relaunch of Ahotor 92.3 FM after nearly 3 months of going off-air. Ahotor 92. 3 FM has hit the airwaves with a bang, following a restructuring program embarked upon by management of the Lashibi based radio station.

The official launch ceremony which came off yesterday evening at the Palscrib bar at Tema Community 11 witnessed an unveiling of Ahotor 92.3 FM’s invigorating logo along with its mission and vision statements.

Speaking at the ceremony, the General Manager of the station, Mr. Ahuma Bosco Ocansey in his welcome address stated that the rebranded Ahotor 92.3 FM has become necessary in order to offer listeners of the station quality radio programmes and content.

On his part, the Special Guest of Honor for the launch, Commercial Manager for African World Airlines, Mr. Kwabena Kyerah charged the station to distinguish itself from other radio stations by broadcasting absolute truth regardless of what the situation may be.

The programme was well attended by a host of personalities including Minister Shina Alege who is a Minister at the Nigerian High Commission to Ghana, legendary highlife musician Bessa Simons, 1^st Vice President of MUSIGA, clients of the station, members of the media fraternity, listeners and business owners.

The station, established in 2016 aspires to be Accra’s most promising radio brand with the best talents leading its drive.  The relaunch will see the station focusing on a mix of compelling programmes, live events and social interventions. Ahotor 92.3 FM’s concepts and direction have been refreshed with a new and carefully themed market-driven approach to stay ahead of competition in the ever-changing radio industry.
