While we were over here gushing about how gorgeous Adesua looked in the four different dresses she wore as she tied the knot with Banky W yesterday, some other people on another part of the internet are calling out her designer Toju Foyeh for copying the design for her first dress.
Gele Maestro Segun Gele took to Instagram to insinuate that the designer might have copied the design for the stunning Edo bride dress writing:
OK so! Was this dress actually designed for #susu it was Copied ? Am not starting a mess o! It’s just my Observation as we see “I want to believe a party Guest” at #BAAD2017 wearing same design but the report from the designer reads different! SWIPE TO SEE FOR YA SEF!

Fabric + sketch for @adesuaetomi Edo traditional outfit.We had to alter the sketch and make it a tube instead so she could wear her edo coral beads on her neck
Adesua is a unique bride..she wanted her outfit to be avant garde/structured which was a bit of a challenge as My aesthetic is more ‘feminine’, but we thank God it turned out great ❤️❤️#BAAD2017#tojufoyeh#tfofcourse
However, In a since deleted post on Instagram the fashion designer reacted saying she didn’t design the outfit but only made it.
LOL, Mr SegunGele, this was the inspiration for the look and as you can clearly see a modified version was sketched for her but had to result to it being a tube. As my caption states, It was made by me, not designed by me so before trying to get 5 seconds of UNMERITED fame, get your facts right and please for future reference purposes get my name off your page, an old man like you should be focusing on his craft and encouraging people!
