Highlife singer/songwriter, Nafisato Kassim, known in the music scene as Naf Kassi, has disclosed that she is hoping for the opportunity to have collaboration with award winning Ghanaian artiste, Kofi Kinaata.
She disclosed that she sees Kofi Kinaata as a highlife artiste with a vision and a good track record, hence his decision to do feature him in one of his upcoming songs.
Speaking with Roy Dennison on the Prime Show live on Apex Tv in Bogoso, Naf Kassi stated that she is currently working on how to get to kofi and looking up to Kofi kinaata to give him the green light.
The ‘Mane Me’ singer mentioned that collaborating with kofi kinaata would definitely push further her musical career to another level.
“I have not worked with a lot of people. I would want to work with Kofi Kinaata. He was my senior in the industry and also from the western and I think it’s best to feature him,” she said.
Since his entry into the Ghanaian music industry a couple of years back, Kofi Kinaata has won the hearts of a myriad of music lovers, especially in Takoradi, where he started his music career from with his style of music.
He has worked and performed on a number of local platforms alongside a number of celebrated Ghanaian artistes.
He won the songwriter of the year and best new artiste of the year awards at the 2016 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Currently Naf Kassi is out with her 1st single as an artist to kick start her musical career. She is an highlife and afrobeat singer from Bogoso in the western region
