For decades, countries in Africa have been saddled with issues of child trafficking. In the past few years, the problem has been increasing. In the 2014 Global report by UN, children trafficking increased by 5% from 2007-2010.

Child trafficking has become an international problem affecting millions of people and many countries around the world.

This is why; a well-established screen entertainment production group, International Entertainment Group (IEG) set to produce its first humanitarian film in Ghana to give light to these problems. The film will star actors from India, Ghana and Nigeria, and will be screened in the big film cinemas across Ghana and other African countries.

The film dubbed “ALEMA” is humanitarian film on child-trafficking, set to create a general public awareness in Global Africa and other parts of the world. ALEMA is “a calm soul with love and humanity”, written by Divine Jones “Major” and Magnus Brooks.

The emotional, educational drama is set to commence in January 2019 and would be featuring great movie stars like; Frank Artus, Zack Orji, Edinam Atatsi, Kofi Adjololo, Martha Ankomah, Stella Animah Anakwah, Kalsium Sinare, Kobby Acheampong, Kaf Jnr among others. Apart from these mainstream movie stars, the film will be featuring lots of new faces casted during the casting audition, to pave way for new and upcoming actors and actresses in the movie industry. The full list of ALEMA cast will soon be broadcasted to the general public before production commences in January 2019.

The feature-length film would be directed by an astute award-winning film director cum writer, Divine Jones (Major). Divine was the director for award-winning Ghanaian movies, Baabani, The Slave King and Silence.

The production, International Entertainment Group (IEG) is mainly into film productions, TV commercials, film exhibition and distribution across Ghana and Africa cinemas at large.
