50cent posted a photograph of a clock counting down to October 13 2017, which is his son’s 18th birthday. It is also the day he’ll legally stop paying child support for the now 17-year-old Marquis Jackson.

50Cent, real name Curtis James Jackson III, on Tuesday, September 13, shared a since-deleted Instagram snapshot of a count down calendar which he captioned, “Man real life is gonna start sooner than you think. Sad part is I wish you well, good #Shanquagetsajob”

The Shaniqua reference was for Marquis’ mother whose name is Shaniqua Tompkins.

hiphopdx.com reported that Shaniqua had once accused 50cent of being a bully to women and children.

50Cent Advises His Son To Get A Job

Marquis later commented on his father’s post saying, “Don’t worry, I’ll make u proud! Just don’t forget to tell me happy birthday that day cause u missed a few.”

Like that wasn’t enough, the 41-year-old returned with another post on Wednesday, September 14, which read, “Life is full of choices, some you can’t take back. If you hate me why you don’t change your son’s name to Tompkins. I’m not your enemy you are. #startJOBhuntingNOw.

Marquis, Shaniqua and the Effen Vodka boss have had a controversially fiery relationship in times past.
