The trend of celebrities having babies with women they aren’t married to isn’t one that started today and it won’t be going away any time soon. And neither would the accompanying public fights and baby dramas that come with the trend.
Following the most recent drama involving Wizkid and the mother of his first child, we’re looking at five times Nigerian celebrities and their babymamas have taken their fights to the streets of social media.
1. Wizkid and Shola Ogudu
Wizkid and Shola Ogudu’s drama is currently ongoing.
Yesterday, Shola who is the mother of the superstar’s first son took to her Instagram account to make a series of posts, some of which were screenshots from her chats with Wizkid in the past years.
Shola who revealed that Wizkid denied his seven-year-old son, Boluwatife, until a DNA was carried out proving he was the father narrated her co-parenting ordeal with Wizkid who she called “wicked, heartless, and cold-hearted.”
Shola spoke on how Wizkid neglects his first son Boluwatife, narrating how she had to always forced Wizkid into fulfilling his fatherly duties.
“For 7 solid years Ayodeji, I was so concerned about anything tarnishing your image or ruining your career cos I knew how much you wanted this. I was very aware how much work you put into achieving your dreams and finally it was all coming to you,” she wrote.
2. Wizkid and Binta Diamond Diallo
Wizkid’s second baby mama Binta Diamond Diallo hasn’t spared any words when it comes to accusing the superstar of neglecting his fatherly duties. She has claimed on a number of occasions that Wizkid abandoned her and her son and contributes next to nothing on their son’s upkeep.
His third baby mama and Manager Jada Pollock put up a post in his defence thanking him for being a good dad.
Wizkid also put up a post on Instagram, saying “there’s two sides to a story”
Binta defended herself against what Jada said, posting proofs that her child wasn’t from a one night stand.
Just a week later, a page on Instagram named @thebalogunboys which shares photos and videos of the three sons of Wizkid shared pictures of Ayodeji, Binta’s son and she ripped into the page and its handler(s) saying her son is not part of the Balogun family and Wizkid can go ahead and love his other kids.
Her reply was:
“Stop posting my son here @thebalogunboys my child is not part of your Balogun family just stop with the fake love shit. Nigga need serious help for real, I can’t deal. this deadbeat can follow this page and show fake love to my son here but never bothered to follow my son’s account or be a father to him. Post the kids you love, claimed and your family. P.S I know who running this account,”

Binta also revealed that she had intentions of suing Wizkid to court but was begged by his family for her not to, so as to avoid immigration issues.
She went ahead to share documents pertaining to the custody and support of their son, Ayodeji. In the documents, it was agreed that Wizkid would pay child support of $2000 monthly.
Binta also revealed that since the agreement took effect in February 2018, Wizkid hasn’t given her anything and every move made to reach Wizkid through his lawyers have proved abortive as his legal team insists that they haven’t been able to reach him.
Binta who wasn’t pleased with all that was happening took to her Instagram page on Monday, September 10, 2018, to put up a post referring to Wizkid as a deadbeat dad.
3. Davido and Sophia Momodu
Sophia is Davido’s first baby mama and even though the two seem to be getting along fine these days, one cannot forget their highly publicized fight of two years ago. The drama had started when Davido put up a snap saying Sophia called him a deadbeat dad because he will never marry her. Sophia got angry and shared screenshots of their conversation.

4. Oritse Femi and Blessing Rawa
Blessing Rawa is Oritse Femi’s Ex who was engaged to him for 5 years and had a baby for him before he went on to marry Nabila Fash in 2017.
In 2015 when things weren’t so rosy for them, Oritse Femi accused Blessing Rawa of hacking into his account, and blessing who wasn’t pleased with everything, took to her Instagram page to speak her mind.

5. Teddy A and Layla
Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate Teddy A’s baby mama, Layla, called him out on Twitter for failing to play the role of a responsible father in his son’s life.
Teddy A who is in a relationship with his fellow housemate Bam Bam has a 5 years old son from his previous relationship and claimed that Layla was married to another man.
Layla went on twitter to tweet that she is not married or dating but single.
Layla in one of her tweets revealed that Teddy A never sends money for the upkeep of their son and the only time he did was on his birthday.
She went on Instagram to write more about what he did to her.
