MultiChoice and the One Africa Global Foundation are collaborating to bring you the COVID-19 Hope for Africa Benefit Concert as a part of their efforts to eradicate coronavirus in Africa and the rest of the world.
The three-hour benefit concert will feature performances from Africa’s biggest and most talented artistes as well as goodwill messages from TV and media personalities, community leaders, medical personnel and many more.
Here are the artistes that will be performing at the Hope for Africa Benefit Concert:
1. Alternate Sound
You don’t want to miss performances by the 4-man band (GospelOnDeBeatz, Roy, Barr. Ken and DrummerBoyStanley) Alternate Sound is Africa’s premium band using technology to enhance the quality of live band experiences.
2. 2Baba
We don’t know if you’ve noticed, but 2Baba is one of the best acts when it comes to live performances. You can look forward to bopping to this OG’s music at the Hope for Africa Concert.
3. Cobhams
Cobhams is an acclaimed songwriter, music producer and singer. Despite his visual impairment, Cobhams will be bringing to your viewing pleasure a message of hope in this trying time we are in.
4. Davido
OBO is a global artiste, and he will be bringing his world renowned talent to the concert. Be sure to tune in!
5. DJ Spinall
All we want to know is this – will we be getting a DJ Spinall collabo with Tiwa Savage or with Davido?
6. Falz
Falz is a multi-talented rapper, song writer and actor. With Falz in the mix, you can be sure to expect music that will literally touch your soul.
7. Flavor
With his South-Eastern beats that will make you move, and envy-inducing dance moves, be prepared to be wowed by Flavour’s performance at the Hope for Africa Concert.
8. LadiPoe
The Mavin rapper is known for his smooth flow and technical ability. We are anticipating the punchy bars he will be dropping at the upcoming concert.
9. Mayorkun
Will Afro-pop superstar Mayorkun be doing a collabo with his label boss Davido?
10. Mr 2Kay
Mr 2Kay will also be bringing some party bangers to the concert, so get ready to turn up at home with the Hope for Africa Concert!
11. Waje
Waje is widely known for her vocal range which covers 3-Octaves. Let’s see how far high Waje can stretch high notes with her performance at the Hope for Africa Concert!
12. Tekno
What do you expect when you bring a talented singer, dancer and songwriter to a virtual concert? We have no words either, but we’re sure Tekno is going to blow our minds!
