Nollywood came out en masse for the AMVCA nominees party held yesterday at the Intercontinental Hotels, Lagos. As usual, the stars tried to outdo themselves but while some didn’t quite succeed, a good number of them shone brightly on the red carpet.

Below are our top ten best dressed celebrities in no particular order.

1. Dorcas Shola Fapson

DSF wore a pale pink dress from Pretty Little Thing was everything. The big bow which ran on one side of the tube knee length dress was the best part of the dress. She paired the lovely dress with rose gold Louboutins, a sleek side part hairstyle and beautiful yet understated make up.

2. Stephanie Coker-Aderinokun:

Stephanie Coker-Aderinokun looked both angelic and fierce in her all-white ensemble. Her off shoulder blouse had feathers attached to the transparent sleeves giving off wing vibes. Everything else was equally perfect, from the blonde pixie cut to the nude makeup to the white pants and nails to the gold shoes.

3. Adesua Etomi-Welligton

Adesua’s body reminded us we hadn’t been to the gym all summer. Her ankle length pink dress from Zhena Woman hugged her perfect bod like it was stitched on her. Her signature pixie cut and a pair of pink added the perfect finish to the chic look.

4. Ini Dima-Okojie:

The plunging neckline of her pale blue Toju Foyeh dress looked like that of a tuxedo. The mini dress was embellished with jewels and feathers. Her pink purse, silver sandals and sleek ponytail were just perfect.

5. Bolanle Olukanni

We have so many words for Bolanle’s outift but so little space. Flawless, Perfection and Beautiful are some of the words that come to mind.

6. Anto Lecky

BBN’s Anto didn’t come to play on the red carpet. Styled by the Noble Igwe himself, her look was effortless. Her Imad Eduso halter neck dress was slit up to the waist with a shimmering short skirt at the side. Her curly hair and black shoes and the makeup which wasn’t even obvious just showed that less is indeed more.

7. Eku Edewor

Eku was a goddess in her see through green dress by Tsemaye Binitie. Her sleek side part ponytail and shoes added to the effortless look she was going for.

8. Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde

Omosexy was one of the few veteran actresses that actually wowed us last night. Her black jumpsuit had frills linked with orange on one side.

9. Bam Bam

BBNs Bam Bam look was beautiful. The short hair complimented the beautiful dress. The frills and cut offs might seem too much at first glance but she didn’t overwhelm it by adding any accessory that stood out.

10. Mimi Onalaja

Mimi showed up in an off-shoulder top and pants set from Fablane By Derin’s diffusion line, Bloom. She looked super chic and effortless, we can’t even fault this look even if we tried.
