VIDEO PREMIERE: Davido Ft. Tinashe – How Long

The long awaited collaboration from Afrobeats superstar – Davido and American singer/dancer/model – Tinashe, has finally arrived.

This stellar tune is titled “How Long”, from his current EP, ‘Son of Mercy'(SOM).

Davido: For the song, I recorded that record about a year ago. One of the executives at Sony International had the record. He played it for Tinashe, and he asked me if I would like to put her on the record. I thought it was a great idea. We just did it. We shot the video in Malibu. It was beautiful. I feel like it’s something different. I call it Afro Fusion. It has all kinds of music. It has the Afrobeats, it has the house music. Everything just fused together.

‘How Long’ is the second single from Omo Baba Olowo’s first project with his international label, Sony BMG.

The beautiful video is shot in entirely black and white in Malibu and shows Davido and Tinashe meeting at a beach, her arriving on a white horse and he on a motorcycle.

It’s great to see and hear a different side of the HKN/DMW boss.  With Tinashe on ‘How Long’ they both create magic.

This amazing love-struck single that will blow your mind away was produced by our very own – Spellz.

Following his previous love songs, this is his best vocally.

Gbagbe Oshi, his first single off SOM EP is his comfort zone, while, How Long is very fresh and totally different from what we are used to.
