On April 27, 2025, the 17th edition of the Headies awards held in Lagos Nigeria and the red carpet gave all it was supposed to give!
But then, while many stars dazzled on the red carpet at the 17th Headies Awards, not everyone hit the right fashion notes.
We had some fashion choices that didn’t quite land to styling mishaps that had us doing a double take, a few looks left us wondering what went wrong.
Fashion is all about expression, but sometimes, the risks don’t pay off. Here’s a roundup of the outfits that missed the mark at this year’s Headies.

This looks like no effort at all and the accessories was over done.
Neo Akpofure – 4/10
Usually Neo rarely misses with his outfits, but this time, he did. The jacket and the white shirt are actually nice, but the cap and shorts are a definite no.
IllBliss – 3/10
Another low effort look we spotted at the Headies red carpet was from IllBliss. It seemed like he just grabbed the first thing his hands touched from his wardrobe
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu – 1/10
The Lagos state governor is also making it to this worst dressed list because everything about this look was off. From the cap that doesnt fit the atiire to the top that does not match the trousers, we think he needs a stylist ASAP.
Miss Nigeria 2025 – 3/10
Miss Nigeria 2025 also made an appearance at the 17th Headies in what looks like a wedding gown. She is a beauty queen, she definitely should have known better.
Cubana ChiefPriest – 1/10
This seems like he was out to get drinks and decided to stop by the Headies.
