One thing for sure is, even if you hate Shatta Wale, you will admit how powerful and of course his influence on Ghana and Africa when it comes to music (reggae/dancehall). In an exclusive interview with Abeiku santana on ATUU, reveals the transition between the time of then Bandana to Shatta Wale. According him, he believes in growth: back then Bandana was a young baby coming up in life, to really face life challenges but he came out with the name Shatta Wale to show people, he is now a matured man who really wants to live a good life, move on in life and make life comfortable for himself. And that’s exactly what he has proved or proving to people right now.

In explanation to why he is so passionate about music, he said he believes music is a calling. In other words, God assigned him to venture into music just so to use him as an instrument to  eradicate the perception people have about stardom. He added that, stardom comes with it’s own special form of blessings. He also debunked rumours about having dubious affiliations with native doctors for his unprecedented fortunes. It’s important to state categorically, Shatta Wale is a strong christian who fellowships at Action Chapel International, founded by Arch. Bishop Nicolas Duncan Williams.

Mostly people have wrong perceptions about Wale’s personality based on his stage craft, loud social media presence, influence, his credibility and his style of controversies. But the truth of the matter is, he has a soft spot. He does what he does because, all things been equal, it works for him. Lets not also forget he finds himself in a circle of showbiz where controversies work. And as a business man, these are some of the things that makes him stand out. In case you’re having doubts about the source of his riches and luxurious lifestyle, here’s what he has to say – work has to pay. He took advantage of each and every situation he found himself in and made the very best out of it. Ghanaians are yet to witness the biggest explosion of “The Dancehall King” as he plans to hit the worldwide market with his artistry. His biggest dream and ambition is to put Ghana on the global map, to let people know his personality, how far he has come and where he originates.

Talking about his existing beefs with various artists in the music sphere, he once passed a comment about Stonebwoy been a joker. This generated countless argument as to why he was dragging Sapashini’s name in the mud, this was what he had to say: we are all brothers in the music industry, don’t eat into another man’s glory or sweat. The “artist of the year” award he won in 2015 that qualified him to be nominated for the BET awards which he definitely won was rightfully mine. Stonebowy is doing well but he should do well and make money out of his craft, he added. He also clarified why he doesn’t have any record with the Highgrade Family boss, Samini. In his assertion, he has reached out to Samini on several occasion for a collaboration to feed both fan-base, Ghana and for the sake of business purposes but he didn’t take the business bits of it rather, he capitalized on the emotional aspect of the diss songs he had recorded earlier. Possibilities of having a song with him his high. As it stands, he believes he doesn’t have any competition or threat in the music industry, instead he is a threat to every artist in Ghana.

Truly, behind every successful man is a woman, Shatta wale give comprehensive account on why he loves his baby mama, Shatta Michy – she is the only woman who really understands the nature of my work and my lifestyle, she checks me, she makes sure i save and do everything right. She is one great woman and i love her so much. In his closing statement, he edged every music lover and individual to believe in God and put their trust in him. For  the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
