Selena Gomez is on break both from touring and social media following her illness but her fandom, Selenators, were on a mission to break a record and this they achieved by pushing her ahead of every other celebrity on Instagram.
Selena is the very first star to reach one hundred million followers on Instagram.
The 24-year-old singer took break off work due to her battle with Lupus, which has caused her to be anxious, depressed and suffer occasional panic attacks.
According to Billboard, Selena Gomez canceled the remainder of her Revival Tour in August to deal with what she said was Lupus-related depression.
Other celebrities with high Instagram following are Taylor Swift with (91.4 million), Beyonce with (85.3 million), Ariana Grande with (85 million) and Kim Kardashian West with (83.6 million).
