Nana Romeo Bids Farewell to Accra FM After Nearly 10 Years

Following days of speculation surrounding his alleged resignation, popular Ghanaian media personality Karim Abdul, professionally known as Nana Romeo has officially confirmed his departure from Accra FM 100.5, a station under the Class Media Group (CMG), where he has worked for close to 10 years.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media on Monday, May 26, 2025, Nana Romeo wrote, “As I sit down to write this, it’s hard to believe that the time has come for me to say goodbye to CMG – ACCRA FM 100.5 after close to 10 years of togetherness.”

He went on to express gratitude to those who played vital roles in his journey at the station, including the owner of CMG, Alhaji Seidu Agongo, and former General Manager Nana Appeanti, whom he credited for believing in his talent.

“To all my colleagues both past and present, to my cherished listeners and all my loved ones—words aren’t enough to express how I’m feeling right now. It’s been beautiful,” he added.

While he did not disclose his next destination, Nana Romeo hinted at an upcoming move with a cryptic line: “FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS AS I DRIVE YOU TO MY NEXT HOME SOON.”
