Elder brother of pop superstar Janet Jackson, Steve Randall Jackson, has said she was verbally abused during her marriage to London-based Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana.
Elder brother of pop superstar Janet Jackson, Steve Randall Jackson, has said she was verbally abused during her marriage to London-based Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana.
The duo, who got married in 2012, split three months after welcoming their first child.
According to People, Steven, a former Jackson 5 star, said:
“Janet’s been through a lot with her divorce. I’ve been through a lot, we all have.
“It was quite an abusive situation. It came on later in the relationship, verbal abuse and being [made to feel like] a prisoner in her own home.
“No pregnant woman needs to go through being called a b***h every day. There were things like that. That’s what she went through.”
In May, Jackson broke her silence on her marriage and new baby in a video posted online.
