‘It’s Not My Place To Tell Women What To Do’ – Bisi Alimi On Why He Won’t Be Won’t Be Leading The Nigerian Women’s March

Popular Nigerian Gay Rights activist, Bisi Alimi yesterday announced that come February 21st, he would be leading Nigerian women on a march to protest domestic violence, rape, child marriage and other issues that affect them.

But after giving it a more careful thought, Bisi had a change of mind. He took to his Instagram page to announce that he won’t be going through with the march as he had earlier stated. His reasons being that, as a man, it isn’t his place to tell women what to do.

He however promised that he will give the women all his support if they ever decide to go on the march.
