David Beckham, the 49-year-old former England football captain, has made a striking return to modeling by starring in a provocative new campaign for Boss One Bodywear.
Captured by renowned photographers Mert and Marcus, the campaign features Beckham in a series of steamy images, including scenes where he appears nude in a shower, showcasing his toned and tattooed physique.
Beckham, who had previously stepped back from bodywear modeling, was inspired to return by the creative vision of Boss CEO Daniel Grieder and the opportunity to collaborate with Mert and Marcus.
He underwent a rigorous 12-week training regimen and adhered to a strict high-protein diet to prepare for the shoot.
Reflecting on the experience, Beckham stated, “Yes, I’ve come out of retirement.”
The campaign has garnered significant attention, with Beckham’s wife, Victoria, sharing her admiration on Instagram, captioning a shirtless photo of him with “My Boss.”
This latest endeavor reinforces Beckham’s enduring influence in both the fashion and advertising industries, demonstrating that even as he approaches 50, he continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
CEO of HUGO BOSS Daniel Grieder while speaking on the campaign said: “The launch of the BOSS ONE Bodywear collection marks another milestone and a new chapter in our long-term strategic partnership with David Beckham.”
“It is also a testament to our joint dedication to style and excellence. Bodywear is an iconic product group, and with this campaign, we aim to inspire customers and fans of the brand worldwide more than ever.”
