The High Court in Amasaman has denied bail to Evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa or Evangelist Mama Pat, pending the outcome of an appeal against her 15-year prison sentence.
The controversial evangelist appeared before the Amasaman High Court on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, as her legal team pursued efforts to secure her release while the appeal process is underway.

Agradaa is currently serving a 15-year jail term following her conviction on charges related to defrauding members of her church under false pretenses through her religious activities. Her legal team filed an appeal shortly after the sentencing, challenging both the verdict and the length of the sentence.
The case continues to attract significant public interest due to Agradaa’s high-profile persona and controversial past involving money-doubling schemes and religious deception allegations.
